Senior Luke Stuart scored 15 points as All Saints defeated Southcrest Christian to win its fourth consecutive TAPPS District 1-2A title on Friday.

Austin Hickle added 13 points, while and Bracy Estes chipped in nine, for the Patriots.

After a bi-district bye, All Saints (25-6, 6-0) will start its run in the TAPPS Class 2A playoffs on Feb. 20. The Patriots were state runner-ups a season ago.


Estacado 50, Seminole 36

C’Kyra Sims scored 17 points as the Lady Matadors turned back the Maidens in a District 2-4A contest Friday.

Estacado’s Jazmine Diaz and Tye Perryman scored 12 and nine points, respectively.

The Matadors (14-19, 5-6) face Perryton at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Randall High School. Seminole (19-13, 5-6) faces Bushland at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview.

Monterey 55, Lubbock High

West Texas A&M signee Braylyn Dollar scored 21 points as the Lady Plainsmen defeated the Lady Westerners in a District 4-5A game on Friday.

With the win, Monterey sealed up the No. 2 seed in league play.

The Lady Plainsmen (24-12, 7-4) face Plainview on Tuesday at a time and destination to be determined. Lubbock High (11-13, 6-5) faces Amarillo High with the details still being worked out.
