All Saints boys golf team takes home TAPPS 2A state title

The All Saints boys golf team took home the TAPPS 2A state title on Wednesday in Waco.

The Patriots, led by coach Leon Van Rensburg, defeated Austin Waldorf with a four stroke victory.

All Saints also won the TAPPS 1A state title in 2015 and finished runner-up in 2016.

Freshman Jackson Drake led the way for the Patriots, as he carded a 77-75—152 to lead all individuals in the evernt.

All Saints also won the state championship for girls golf and finished runner-ups in boys basketball this season.
