Letter: Teaching children builds strong nation

Teach your children: A nation that teaches their children the Bible and Judaeo Christian politics will build a strong nation, and their children and their children’s children will be successful and happy. But when the people walk around with their head in the clouds, the nation becomes tyrannical and the people mourn.

I feel a lot more secure with Donald Trump in the White House. I think he won because God was not ready for a one-world government.

A thought: Three phases of liberalism — national debt, soup lines and slavery. And you may not even get to make it through the soup line.

There’s a great scene in the wonderful 1982 movie “My Favorite Year,” which is set in 1954. Peter O’Toole plays a semi-washed-up actor named Alan Swann, famous for swashbuckling roles. For reasons too complicated to explain here, Swann tries to shimmy down the side of a building using a fire hose. He ends up dangling just below a cocktail party on a balcony.
