Lubbock police searching for suspects in alleged armed robbery at Dr Grill N Bar

Lubbock police are searching for suspects in an alleged armed robbery early Saturday at Dr Grill N Bar.

 

At about 1:11 a.m., police were called to the bar located at 5023 34th St. in reference to the crime after it was reported two armed suspects entered the business demanding cash, according to a Lubbock Police Department report.

The victim, who is listed as an employee, told police the two suspects entered the business through the front door and displayed a firearm.

Pointing it around the room, the two reportedly told everyone to get on the ground and then asked, “Where is the money?”

The victim then reportedly grabbed a bag containing an undisclosed amount of cash and threw it toward the suspect.

At this point, the officer notes, the victims were told not to call the cops because “they have five guys outside with guns.”

The two reportedly fled the scene heading east.

The police report describes the suspects as wearing ski masks with openings for mouth and eyes.

According to the report, the victim was visibly shaken from the incident and had difficulties describing details of the alleged crime.

No one was injured in the incident, and no further information was released.
