Lubbock welcomes Christian-based award winning artist Jaci Velasquez with Nic Gonzales

Multi-award winning singer Jaci Velasquez and Nic Gonzales of the award-nominated group Salvador will perform April 2 at the Emmanuel Worship Center, 1102 70th St.

 

Tickets to the 6 p.m. event range from $15 to $25 and admission for children 10 and younger is free.

VIP tickets, which include a post-show meet and greet, CD, photo opportunity and autograph, are available for $45.

The husband and wife’s Lubbock stop is part of her tour on the heels of the release of her album “Diamonds,” and two faith-based films titled “The Encounter” and “Jerusalem Countdown.”

The Christian-based artist is known for her hit songs such as the Dove-award winning “On My Knees,” as well as “God So Loved” and “You’re My God.”

Velasquez is currently working on a new devotional and book titled “Coffee and Concealer.”

Approaching 17 years as a professional singer, Velasquez has been the recipient of seven Dove Awards, a Premio Lo Nuestro Award, and has been nominated for five Grammys, six Latin Billboard Awards and an American Music Award.
