Lubbock business leader announces candidacy for Lubbock ISD school board

The president and chief executive officer of Integrated Axis LLC has announced his candidacy for the Lubbock Independent School District Board of Trustees.

Wesley Robinson will run for District 3 of the LISD board. He is married to Kelly Robinson, and has three sons, including one graduate of Lubbock High School and two younger sons.

District 3 is currently occupied by Mark Blankenship, but he announced Wednesday that he will not run for re-election.

Robinson said he has a love for Lubbock, and has been involved in many community activities through his church and through non-profit organizations.

“My wife Kelly and I have been impressed with the high level of academics at Coronado High School. I know that public education has been under fire lately. I want to do my part to support the Lubbock schools by helping to keep advancing our school system,” Robinson said.
