Lubbock police investigating suspicious death in West Lubbock

Lubbock police were investigating a suspicious death Saturday afternoon in West Lubbock.

Around 1:45 p.m., officials responded to reports of a dead body at Commander’s Palace Mobile Home Park at 6801 19th St., according to LPD spokeswoman Kasie Whitley.

“Upon arrival, investigators found the circumstances surrounding the deceased person’s death to be suspicious,” she said.

Although police were not releasing more details about the nature of the death, Whitley said homicide investigators were called to the scene. The incident was still under investigation by Saturday evening.
