AT&T has created 165 jobs this year and is looking to fill 22 more at the Lubbock call center through a job fair on Friday, according to a news release from the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance.
The job fair will be from 1-6 p.m. at 2321 N. University Ave. AT&T is specifically looking for bilingual applicants, but anyone is welcome to apply. The position’s benefits include discounts on products and services, tuition reimbursement, savings plan, competitive pay, paid time off and health insurance.
“AT&T is growing in many areas and we want to ensure we are providing the highest level of customer service,” said Rachel Ennis, director of the AT&T Call Center in Lubbock, in the news release. “As part of that commitment, we are seeking to hire dynamic individuals who have equal passion for both customer service and new technologies.”
The new jobs created by AT&T have an estimated annual payroll of $5.2 million with a total value added impact of $13.6 million, according to the news release.
