A free screening of writer-director Del Shores’ sequel “A Very Sordid Wedding” will be shown at 8:30 p.m. Monday, April 24, in the Matador Room at the Texas Tech Student Union on campus.
The film’s stars include Caroline Rhea, Whoopi Goldberg, Bonnie Bedalia, Michael MacRae and Emerson Collins.
Filmmaker Shores and producer Emerson Collins, who also costars as a serial killer, will lead a post-screening Q & A session.
The film is inspired by characters in the popular 2000 independent film “Sordid Lives.”
The screening is sponsored by the Tech office of LGBTQIA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual, Queer, Intersex and Asexual), with support from Tech’s Women’s Studies program.
General admission seating — first come, first seated — is in effect.
